5-Day Tanzania Highlight Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Tarangire National Park

  • Drive from Arusha to Tarangire (approx. 2 hours)

  • Game drive in Tarangire National Park, known for:

    • Large elephant herds

    • Ancient baobab trees

    • Seasonal swamps

  • Overnight in Tarangire or nearby lodge/camp

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

  • Early morning drive to the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro highlands (long drive, approx. 6–7 hours with game viewing en route)

  • Afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti (Seronera) region
